Einsatz richtungsabhängiger Dampfbremsen / Use of directional vapor retarders

links - rechts - positiv (+Transport)
rechts - links - negativ (-Transport)
unten - oben - positiv (+Transport)
oben - unten - negativ (-Transport)

Das bedeutet:
positive Einbaurichtung: +Kurve für +Transport, -Kurve für -Transport
negative Einbaurichtung -Kurve für +Transport, +Kurve für -Transport

Beispiel:

There are two sd curves for directional vapor retarders.
One, the +curve is blue, and the -curve is red. Which curve is used for which transport direction is determined by the installation direction "Positive Direction" and "Negative direction". In the following, positive means a flow from left to right or from bottom to top. The following possibilities are available:
left - right - positive (+transport)
right - left - negative (-transport)
bottom - top - positive (+transport)
top - bottom - negative (-transport)

This means:
positive direction of installation: +curve for +transport, -curve for -transport
negative direction of installation: -curve for +transport, +curve for -transport

Example:
In a flat roof, a vapor barrier is installed at the bottom. Since one generally wants to improve drying, one wants to have the curve with the lower sd values for the transport direction from top to bottom (-transport). As the -curve has the lower sd values, you must therefore select "Positive Direction".
