Änderung von Materialeigenschaften in DELPHIN 6 / Change of material properties in DELPHIN 6

It is currently not possible to change certain material properties in DELPHIN 6. Proceed as follows if you want to change a material property that only consists of a numerical value and no function, e.g. bulk density, thermal conductivity (only in the default setting without function!), heat storage capacity.
Click on the material you want to change and click on "Import". A "materials" folder will then be created in your project folder with the corresponding material. The path to this material will be corrected in the project file. Open the material with an editor (we do not recommend using MS Notepad, but freely available alternatives such as PSPad, Notepad++ etc.), change the value and save the material.
If you want to change a material property that consists of a function, and is possibly linked with other functions, such as moisture storage, it is best to use DELPHIN 5.9.
Create a new project there that can only consist of this one material. Open the material and change the property. You will be asked if you want to change this function and any dependent functions. Confirm this. Remark: after each change you have to click 'Modify material'! Once all changes have been made, confirm with 'OK' and the material will be imported into the project file. Reopen the project, right-click on the material and save it with "Export material file". Import this material into DELPHIN 6 by clicking in D 6 on the green '+' in the material dialog and then using the 3-point button to set the path to it.

The new DELPHIN 6.1 version is out.
There is also a material editor. There is already a first tutorial in English on our documentation page (Tutorial 8 in http://www.bauklimatik-dresden.de/delph ... tation.php).
