Impact of moisture in DELPHIN

Hello,

I am setting up a DELPHIN simulation to compare the impact of moisture on a wall in terms of heat flux and thermal conductivity. I am modeling two cases:

Dry Wall: Low initial moisture content of the insulation

Wet Wall: High initial moisture content of the insulation

Is this enough to capture the effect of moisture on thermal conductivity and heat flux, or do I need to modify other settings.
Additionally, I want to observe the transient U-value over time. What is the best method to extract this data from DELPHIN? Should I extract hourly heat flux data, or is there a more direct way to obtain an effective U-value over time?

I would appreciate any guidance on the best approach.

Thank you!

Hello,

It is a possible approach. You don't need do modify more things.
You need a mean value of the heat flux over a certain time. In this time you need a high mean temperature difference between inside and outside.
You can use the hourly values and calculate the mean values later for example with Excel.
