I am currently working on setting up a vapor barrier layer between two materials. When configuring the contact condition, I selected different types of Foil with varying vapor diffusion permeability levels. I then applied the material between the two layers to observe the effects of different Foils on moisture and ice content. However, the simulated results for both moisture and ice content are almost identical across the variations in vapor diffusion permeability.

Could you please advise on potential issues or adjustments that may need to be made to achieve differentiated results? Any insights you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

In your case I need the project file in order to find out anything.
What do you applied between the two layers, the contact condition or a material layer?
Do you read the tutorial regarding contact conditions?
