Hello,
Is it possible to create a reflective membrane (vapour barrier or under-roof screen) on Delphin?
If not, which material could be the closest to this reflective side?

Claire

Re: reflective membrane
Hello,
You mean this membrane reflects longwave radiation?
If such a membrane is mounted on a side of a cavity it is possible to model it by using the longwave radiation exchange model (field condition). Maybe you can show me an example and I can show you how to handle it.

Re: reflective membrane
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Here is an exemple (in attachment) of the section I would like to model.
In this case, is it possible to model a aluminised roof sreen or vapor barrier ? Infrared radiation is then reflected.
Regards,
Claire

Re: reflective membrane
Hello,
Yes, this is possible. You can use the field condition 'longwave radiation exchange in a cavity'. Here you can set the emission coefficients of both sides of the cavity. You only have to set a low value at the bottom side (with reflective membrane). Thats all.
Best regards
