Re: calculating heat transfer coefficient
There is no direct output for the heat transfer coefficient. You need to set outputs for heat flow density and both surface temperatures. From this you can calculate it by yourself.

Re: Salt modeling: Gypsum calculations in DELPHIN
I will check the DELPHIN 5 problem. Maybe the solver is not created for salt calculations. For DELPHIN 6 you wilöl find the salt simulation options in the 'model options'. Its not in the main menu. Click on the button with the gear wheels on the left side and you will see it below the check box 'Sal...

Re: Salt modeling: Gypsum calculations in DELPHIN
Hello, The error message said you have an non valid combination of balance equations. Have a look into the 'Modeling and simulation settings'. Which balance equations are switched on? For your simulation you need 'Energy balance', 'Moisture balance' and 'Salt balance' and nothing else. Why do you us...

Hello,
For the first point deactivate 'Use strict material function check' in the model options.
Furthermore you need to set the salt database path in the 'salt simulation options'. The database itself is included in the zip file from the first posting.

Hallo,
Nein, wird sie nicht. Man kann beliebig viele DELPHIN Versionen nebeneinander haben.

Re: The result
Hello, May you can explain a bit more? What exactly is the question? First of all for Geometry Delphin can handle only rectangular constructions. In order to model the arch you can use a staircase-like construction. Keep in mind the increase of the surface. This can be handled by modifieing the exch...

Hallo,

Re: reflective membrane
Hello,
Yes, this is possible. You can use the field condition 'longwave radiation exchange in a cavity'. Here you can set the emission coefficients of both sides of the cavity. You only have to set a low value at the bottom side (with reflective membrane). Thats all.
Best regards
Heiko Fechner

Re: reflective membrane
Hello,
You mean this membrane reflects longwave radiation?
If such a membrane is mounted on a side of a cavity it is possible to model it by using the longwave radiation exchange model (field condition). Maybe you can show me an example and I can show you how to handle it.
