Using the longwave radiation source model is the correct way. This source model can only be assigned to a air space. That means you need to assige air as material to your crawl space.

Das ist leider nicht so einfach. Es gibt Modelle zur Aufteilung in Direkt- und Diffusstrahlung. Diese funktionieren aber nur vernünftig wenn man etwas über die Bedeckung weiß. Ich schau mal nach und melde mich nochmal.
